The Bou El Jaj Tin Project (BLJ) is a significant tin target that is approximately 8 km directly to the south west of the Achmmach Tin Project and 15 km by road. BLJ has the potential to provide satellite orebodies that could provide supplementary feed to a processing facility at Achmmach.
BLJ lies in the southernmost extension of a mineralized corridor that is approximately 2.5 to 3km wide and nearly 12km long in strike, running from Achmmach to the Oued Beht river.
Unlike most of Achmmach, BLJ has a strong surface geochemical signature for tin. Outcropping tin mineralization is evident along 2,100m of strike length within 3,100km of prospective tourmaline altered rocks.
Phase 1 diamond drilling totalling 7947.7 m was completed during 2013. This tested shallow targets along 1740 m of outcropping mineralisation on four prospects and identified potential for deeper “Meknes style” mineralisation remains untested at Ain Karma, Ain Karma North, Hill 982 and Grande Crete Extension.
